Inspiration, this amazing energy, when it comes around you feel it in every fiber of your being… and then what? Life comes back around and before you know it you're in your regular routine with a memory of an amazing moment and maybe a fading echo of a call that you should do something with that energy.
I painted and I pondered the last two weeks
For a living I’m a change/project manager, by night I paint. I love my job as manager. I organize that people think about what they want to change and why. (especially that last one, the why is important and easily forgotten) Then we prioritize and organize what needs to be done, that everything needed is at the right time and the right place. I love my job and my hobby, I need both. My job makes me use my brain and people skills
my hobby gives me a creative outlet. It helps knowing what you excel at and why. It took me 35 years to figure out because its hard to see what comes natural to you and not to others. So if you’re still struggling here don’t beat yourself up, everybody needs to figure this out on their own and in their own time. You might not even believe it but you have special abilities, spotting things that others don’t see in an instance, an interest you have. It can be anything, talk to people find out how they see you and find out what holds truth for you and find your why.
Two weeks ago a fire was sparked in the meeting I had two weeks ago.
Now remember what sparks your fire says so much about yourself and what you hold dear then about the situation, so when somethings gives you energy (or drains it) always ask yourself why. What does it say about you. These little bit can be a puzzle that you can put together.
Being a change manager does mean that I love change. I love the spring and the fall more then the summer and winter. I believe that things can always be better and I want to contribute that change. Yet what I want to change in my own life can be surprisingly misty.
Open up, be honest and find out you are not alone

In our own way we are all struggling with the same questions. Today I met someone new and during the to get to know you phase I told him about my current internal struggle. I could have chosen not to do that, to talk less and smile more, if I would have done that then he would not have been able to do what he did. Only when you open up people can help. The man I met today asked me a couple of question and helped me with my thought process.
He told me that it seems that I’m inspired with the creators and that he knows someone who works in theater and might be able to help me on my journey. This sweet stranger that is now an acquaintance (because I hooked him up on his quest by introducing him to the vlog of Howard Ho because he is inspired by the creation of music) helped me out with a couple of questions and a suggestion. That is usually what happens when you start talking you can help each other with a question of an introduction.
Where will this journey take me, can I combine a hobby and my organizational skills? I have no clue yet but I’m taking you with me on this ride so stay tuned for my next blog.
