"Working with other people just makes you smarter" is one of my favorite quotes of Lin-Manuel Miranda. It is one of my favorites because it is true but I can sometimes forget. It's easy to retreat in your home, job or school and think you are better off doing things alone. It is so much faster, collaboration takes energy. You need to really listen to the other and they need to listen to you.
It all might be true but the result is always better then what you yourself could have cooked up and who knows you might have fun along the way.
